'Night Of Queens'[Miss Independence Beauty Pageant/Unity and Patriotism Award Night].


The Pageantry must have come and gone,but its memory will live forever.That i guess,would be the song in the lips of All the Attendees and Contestants who Trooped into Ibeto Hotels for the 2016 Edition of 'Miss Independence Nigeria Beauty Pageant'.



19 year old Adenike Oyindamolami Adeniji,A first year student of Mushoud Abiola Polythecnic Abeokuta[Department of Science Laboratory Technology],Representing Lagos State was on that Night,Crowned Queen/face of Miss independence.

The Pageantry also produced other Queens Such as;

1] Miss Blessing Ene- Miss Independence Nigeria Peace.[Representing Benue State].1st Runner up.

2] Miss Victoria Odole-Miss Independence Culture.[Representing Ekiti State].2nd Runner up.

3].Miss Blessing Peter-Miss Independence Nigeria Unity.[Representing Imo State].3rd Runner up.

4].Miss Gift Anwuacha-Miss Independence Tourism.[Representing Abia State].4th Runner up.

This Queens becomes Ambassadors for Peace,unity,culture and Tourism respectively.There is a huge task ahead,which lies in the shoulders of this queens. The Event also witnessed the recognition of some Notable Nigerians who has played major roles in National Development. The Award Recipients are;

1] Senator Dino Melaye [Represented by Architect Idowu].

2]Chief Fatai Alui.

3] Hon. Amina Aliyu.

4]Gbenga Aruleba of A.I.T.

5]  Ordinary Ahmed Issah [president of Brekete Familly Radio].

The unity and Patriotism award was in recognition of their contribution towards National unity and promoting the spirit of patriotism.
