This piece of history about Senator Ovie Omo-Agege who allegedly led thugs to steal mace will leave you stunned
Suspended member of the senate, Ovie Omo-Agege who allegedly led a group of thugs to the senate yesterday and stole the mace, is the son of a former Chief Judge of Delta state, Justice James Omo-Agege.
Justice Omo-Agege who is the longest-serving chief judge in the history of the state, was famous for carrying out the sentencing of the infamous armed robbers, Lawrence Anini, Monday Osunbor and George Iyamu, a police officer, to death by firing squad in the 1987.
He died on August 18, 2016.
Other facts about the suspended lawmaker includes
-He did his NYSC in the Nigeria Police after bagging a degree in Law from the University of Benin from 1987 and 1988.
-He was appointed an executive assistant by James Ibori, former governor of Delta state and later became the secretary to the state government.
